DIRECT A TAX SAVING GIFT FROM YOUR IRA
Satisfy your IRA annual required minimum distribution, reduce your income taxes and provide essential financial support for the Villages of San Mateo County!
If you are age 72 or older, you can direct your IRA custodian (such as Schwab, Vanguard, Fidelity, and others) to transfer part or all of your required minimum distribution to Villages of San Mateo County.
You do not need to itemize federal income taxes to make one of these gifts and save on your taxes - and you can donate up to $100,000 to your favorite charities from your traditional (non-Roth) IRA(s), tax-free, each year!
These tax-saving gifts are easy! Simply instruct your IRA administrator to direct your gift to Villages of San Mateo County (Tax ID #47-3571718) and mail the check to our office at PO Box 813, San Carlos, CA 94070 - or enter this information on the form preferred by your IRA administrator before December 31.
If you have any questions regarding IRA donations, please call the office, (650) 440-5030, and ask for a call back from Dave McClure or email dmcclure@villagesofsmc.org.
We're grateful for your support!
