Please join your fellow Villages on this 1.8 mile level loop that takes us through the Kilroy conference center and along the bay with the opportunity to see interesting landscaping, public art and the winter birds.  All are welcome- bring a friend!

Open to VSMC members. Event will be capped at 40 attendees. There will be a lift on the bus.
Pick up / Drop Off Location: Parking Lot Outside of Kabul Restaurant: 135 El Camino Real, San Carlos. Near Hull Drive and El Camino Real- 2:00 pm. We will be having a late lunch at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewery: Tanforan Shopping Center (1140 El Camino Real, San Bruno) at 2:30 pm. Attendees who live closer to San Bruno can board the bus at the Tanforan Shopping Center.

We will be having a buffet lunch at BJ’s that include drinks (soft drinks, juice), tax and gratuity. The cost of the Aura admission and lunch at BJ’s is $60.00. Please bring your checks when you board the bus made out to Villages of San Mateo County.

Watch a screening of the award-winning documentary, Surfing for Life, followed by a discussion with co-producer and Village member, Roy Earnest and a panel of older surfers on Dec 3 at 2:00PM at the Pacifica Community Center in Pacifica. This short film celebrates surfers who model healthy aging by staying active and engaged with surfing and their community. Gain a unique perspective on aging, purpose and living life to the fullest. Get ready for some delicious Chinese food at Crouching Tiger! Join other Villagers for our next casual, Drop-In Dinner (I.e. pay for your own meal). There is no need to register in advance, however, if you are a Village member who needs a ride, call the VSMC office at 650 260 4569 to arrange your ride.

’Tis the season to come together with friends and delight in the classic sounds of the Magnolia Jazz Band! Join us for a cheerful afternoon filled with smooth jazz, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and plenty of holiday warmth.
Let the lively melodies of this talented trio—clarinet, guitar, and bass—carry you back in time with a selection of holiday favorites and timeless hits by legendary artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, and Bing Crosby. The Magnolia Jazz Band will set just the right tone for a cozy and unforgettable celebration.
